EDWARD WATTS (Sky Masterson)
Edward happily returns to STAGES where audiences may remember him as Jefferson in 1776 and Lancelot in CAMELOT. Tours include LES MISERABLES (Enjolras) and SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS (Adam). Edward has also been seen at New York City Opera, Goodspeed, Paper Mill, Theatre Under The Stars, and The 5th Avenue Theatre in such leading roles as Joe in THE MOST HAPPY FELLA, Captain Von Trapp in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, the Beast and Gaston in Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Trevor Graydon in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, Frank Butler in ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, and Harold Hill in THE MUSIC MAN. Television credits include recurring roles on “The Sopranos” and “All My Children.” Proud member of AEA.

DAVID FOLEY JR. (Nathan Detroit)
David is thrilled to be making his debut with STAGES. New York credits include FORBIDDEN BROADWAY, THE BOOK OF THE DUN COW, and MARTHA! THE UNAUTHORIZED MUSICAL. Regionally, David has played roles in PROOF (Hal), THE WILD PARTY (Burrs), and The Muny’s production of SOUTH PACIFIC. Most recently, he was seen as Marlin in FINDING NEMO: THE MUSICAL at Walt Disney World. David is a frequent performer of new musical works and has played lead roles in several original projects, most notably with the BMI and ASCAP/Disney workshops. KATE FISHER (Sarah Brown)
Kate makes her STAGES debut this season. Seen as Cosette in LES MISERABLES both on Broadway and with its National tour, Kate recently originated the role of Jo March in the 1st National tour of LITTLE WOMEN. Favorite regional roles include Marian Paroo in THE MUSIC MAN (Kansas City Starlight), Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY (Helen Hayes Theatre Co., Syracuse Stage, and Arizona Theatre Co.), Clarissa Evers in UNLOCK’D (Chicago’s Ravinia Music Festival), Fiona in BRIGADOON (Maine State Music Theatre), Emma Carew in JEKYLL AND HYDE (MSMT and Arvada Center–Ovation nom.), Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Hangar Theatre), Bathsheba Everdene in FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD (NYMF), Belle in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (MGMS), and THEY ALL LAUGHED (Goodspeed Opera House). She can also be heard as the voice of Queen Marissa in the animated film BARBIE THE ISLAND PRINCESS. Kate is originally from Denver and a Northwestern University grad. [TOP]

JULIE CARDIA (Miss Adelaide)
Julie is thrilled to be making her STAGES debut this summer. She toured nationally in THE WIZARD OF OZ, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and as Lily St. Regis in ANNIE which played Madison Square Garden starring Kathy Lee Gifford. Recently, Julie was seen in IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE at Westchester Broadway Theatre. EDWARD JUVIER (Nicely-Nicely Johnson)
Edward is thrilled to be back in St. Louis working with the amazing team at STAGES! Returning for a 3rd season, he appeared last year as Marcellus Washburn in THE MUSIC MAN and was seen as Sancho Panza in MAN OF LA MANCHA. As an actor, Ed has also appeared in both the National tour and Broadway production of LES MISERABLES. New York credits include FANNY (York), TRIUMPH OF LOVE (Lincoln Center), and SMOKING BLOOMBERG (NYMTF), a production he also produced which won the “Best of Fest 2006” award. JASON CANNON (Lt. Brannigan/ Joey Biltmore)
Jason is glad to be back with STAGES where previous credits include STATE FAIR, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and THE FULL MONTY. Most recently, he appeared as La Hire/English Soldier in SAINT JOAN at The Rep, Master Page in THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR at Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, and
Father Flynn in DOUBT with Dramatic License Productions. Jason has received three Kevin Kline Award nominations (Outstanding Lead Actor, Director, and Lighting Design) for RiverCity Theatre’s production of HAMLET. PAUL PAGANO (Harry the Horse)
Paul is excited to return to STAGES after appearing in Disney’s THE JUNGLE BOOK last summer. A proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, he has performed with the Guthrie Theatre, Children’s Theatre Company, Utah Shakespearean Festival, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, Mustard Seed Theatre, and many others. Favorite roles include Frankie in FOREVER PLAID, Durdles in THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, and Sr. Amnesia in NUNSENSE A-MEN. STEVE ISOM (Benny Southstreet)
Steve is very pleased to be returning for his 16th consecutive season at STAGES, where he has had the pleasure of playing a wide variety of roles ranging from Lank in CRAZY FOR YOU to Edward Rutledge in 1776 to Baloo in Disney’s THE JUNGLE BOOK to Herbie in GYPSY. Steve has performed with many other St. Louis companies including The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Imaginary Theatre Company, New Jewish Theatre, HotCity Theatre, TNT, and Upstream Theater. HERSCHEL SPARBER (Big Jule)
Herschel is proud to make his STAGES debut this season. He has appeared on Broadway as Big Jule in GUYS AND DOLLS and Big Six in CITY OF ANGELS. Regionally, he has worked at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, the Sacramento Music Circus, Reprise at UCLA, the CLOs in Redondo Beach and Long Beach Ca, The Cleveland Playhouse, The Birmingham Theater, Kings County Shakespeare, and is a founding member of both Theaterwest of Los Gatos and Tennesee Rep. ZOE VONDER HAAR (General Cartwright)
Zoe toured in the 1st International Company of A CHORUS LINE for two years before returning to her home town of St. Louis to raise her family. She has performed in 50 STAGES productions in such roles as Dolly Levi in HELLO, DOLLY! (Kevin Kline Award), Mama Rose in GYPSY, Mame Dennis in MAME, and Cassie in A CHORUS LINE. Zoe has also appeared numerous times at The Rep, The Muny, and throughout the year could be seen performing in THE AMERICAN MUSICAL at the Sheldon Concert Hall. When not performing, Zoe teaches dance and choreographs at 7 schools in the St. Louis area. [TOP]

BEN NORDSTROM (Rusty Charlie)
Ben returns to STAGES for his 6th season where roles include Laurie in LITTLE WOMEN, Ren in FOOTLOOSE (Kevin Kline Award), and Arpad in SHE LOVES ME. Other favorites include THE UGLY ONE (Echo), MARY’S WEDDING (Echo; KKA nom), INTO THE WOODS (Lyceum), URINETOWN (St. Louis Rep; KKA nom), AMADEUS (Great Lakes), and EQUUS (Alley). Locally, Ben has worked with The Rep, HotCity, Sheldon Concert Hall, New Jewish Theatre, Arrow Rock Lyceum, and is an ensemble member with Echo Theatre Company. He recently made his cabaret debut with his solo show at the Kranzberg Center. Ben holds a BFA in musical theatre from Webster University and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity. (Public Theatre), and EMPIRE–THE MUSICAL (Workshops, Stamford Center, Cast Recording). Mathias has also toured with THE RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR. Regional credits include LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE (Guthrie Theater), CHICAGO (Pioneer Theater Company), PIPPIN (Arvada Center), CATS (Marriott Theater), AIDA (Gateway Playhouse), and Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (North Carolina Theater/Fox Theater). Ellen is thrilled to return to STAGES for a 17th consecutive season where her favorite featured roles include Maggie Anderson in BRIGADOON, Fruma Sarah in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and Woodstock in SNOOPY!!! Ellen is incredibly proud to have appeared in the Ensemble of 38 productions at STAGES and cannot thank Michael and Jack enough for that privilege. A proud graduate of Webster University, Ellen currently teaches for Webster University’s theatre and dance program.
