ALEXIS L. KINNEY (Alice)

Alexis is overjoyed to be back for her 7th season as a proud member of the STAGES family where previous credits include Fredrika Armfeldt in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, Agnes Smith in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, Louisa von Trapp in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and Dinah Lord in HIGH SOCIETY.  Other STAGES appearances include the Ensembles of FOOTLOOSE, MAN OF LA MANCHA, and CAROUSEL.  Currently a junior at Webster Conservatory, Alexis has appeared in JAQUES BREL…and as Rose Mundy in DANCING AT LUGHNASA.  Many special thanks go out to the STAGES family and the Kinney family for all of their constant love and support! LAURA ERNST (Mathilda)

Laura delightedly returns to STAGES having appeared in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC in 2007.  Most recently, she played Nellie Forbush in SOUTH PACIFIC at Great Plains Theatre (KS).  Earlier this year, Soundstage Productions debuted …AT LAST, a new musical Laura co-wrote with her mother, local composer Leona Ernst.  She spent 2008 singing, dancing, and cruising the rivers of Oregon and Washington with Majestic America Line. Laura, a St. Louis native and Washington University graduate, is grateful to STAGES and its terrific audiences for making it possible to do what she loves in her favorite city! [TOP]

  BRIAN OGILVIE (White Rabbit)

Brian is very excited about returning to STAGES where audiences may remember his performances as Henrik in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC and the tail-wagging title character in SNOOPY!!!  Brian just returned from Florida Stage and the premiere production of CAGNEY, a new musical about the life and career of Hollywood’s favorite gangster/hoofer, James Cagney.  Other credits include ALTAR BOYZ (Luke), THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE (Jimmy), 42ND STREET (Billy Lawlor), and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (Russian Tenor). MICHAEL BAXTER (Tweedle Dee)

Michael is proud to be making his debut at STAGES.  Regional credits include THE PRODUCERS (Ensemble/Trustee) and MY ONE AND ONLY (Ensemble) at The Muny, KISS ME KATE (Ensemble/Haberdasher) at The Rep, and SHE LOVES ME (Arpad Lazslo), GODSPELL (Lead Performer), and JUNIE B. JONES (Meanie Jim/Grandpa) at Hope Summer Repertory Theatre.  In May, Michael received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Webster University where selected university credits include OKLAHOMA! (Will Parker), ANGELS IN AMERICA: MILLENIUM APPROACHES (Prior Walter), JACQUES BREL…(Lead Performer), and CABARET (Emcee).  Thanks to my family, friends, and teachers for all of their love and support!  Proud AEA Member!   ANDREW KRUEP (Tweedle Dum)

Andrew is ecstatic to be performing in his 1st season with STAGES!  He recently received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Southeast Missouri State University.  Favorite regional credits include BIG RIVER (Huck Finn), WEST SIDE STORY (Baby John), THE WIZARD OF OZ (Ensemble), MACBETH (Malcolm), and seven years at The Muny.  University credits include BIG RIVER (Huck), 42ND STREET (Billy Lawlor), ANGELS IN AMERICA (Joe Pitt), and THE 1940’S RADIO HOUR (Lou Cohn).  Thank you to everyone at STAGES for this great opportunity!  And as always, much love to family and friends for their unending support.   TAYLOR LOUDERMAN (Rose)

Taylor is elated to be at STAGES this summer.  She made her professional stage debut at the age of ten with Ozark Actors Theatre in Rolla as Annie Warbucks in ANNIE.  Favorite roles include Hope in URINETOWN, the Narrator in JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT, Wendy in PETER PAN (Arts for Life Nominee), Sandy in GREASE, and Sharpay in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL.  Taylor was a member of the 2007 Muny Teens and has performed with the ensemble in several Muny seasons.  An honors student from Bourbon, Missouri and in her senior year at Sullivan High School, Taylor is excited about attending the University of Michigan where she will major in Musical Theatre.  Taylor would like to thank Lisa, Lara, Susie, Neal, Michael, Jack, Ron, Ben, and Dana for being some of the most talented, incredible people to work with—but she couldn’t have done it without Mom and Dad! TAYLOR PIETZ (Lily)

Taylor is excited to be returning to STAGES for her 2nd season having previously performed in last season’s productions of THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE and JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT. A senior at UMSL majoring in Advertising, Taylor is a classically trained pianist and is a member of the professional tap trio, “Diva La Tap.”  She is also an instructor of tap, jazz, and ballet at Leaping Lizards Performing Arts Studio.  Taylor can be found in the film scene in both St. Louis and Chicago.  Her first feature film FIREPROOF GLOVES will be out in film festivals around the country later this year. KIM McCLAY (Violet)

Kim is thrilled to be in her first STAGES production!  A member of TeamSTAGES, she loves working with the STAGES family and is very excited to be in this show.  Having recently graduated from Parkway West High School, Kim cannot wait to study Musical Theatre in college.  Local credits include appearances at The Muny and Union Avenue Opera Theatre. In addition to theatre, Kim has traveled to Los Angeles with Krupinski’s Academy of Dance for Dance Excellence, where she was featured in a musical theatre dance number.  Thanks to her family, friends, the cast, and crew! JACQUELINE PROBST (Petunia)

Jacqueline is thrilled to return to STAGES where she was last seen as Baby June in GYPSY.  A junior at Villa Duchesne, Jacqueline recently appeared as Dorothy in ROCKET BOYS, a Broadway bound musical.  She has been a Muny Kid/Teen for 7 years and has been seen in Muny productions of 42ND STREET, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ANNIE, CINDERELLA, PETER PAN, and THE WIZARD OF OZ. Jacqueline can also be seen on DVD as narrator/singer for a special animation project with Mary Engelbreit and Kevin Kline. A Junior Olympic Level 10 National Team Gymnastic Member and a member of the 2000 & 2001 T.O.P.S. USA National Gymnastic Team, Jacqueline aspires to compete on the collegiate level.  Besides training 22 hours a week in the gym, she studies voice with Nance St. James, and has been dancing since the age of 5.  Jacqueline is very thankful to STAGES and for all the loving support of her family.   MONTE J. HOWELL (Caterpillar)

Monte J. Howell is excited to be working at STAGES!  Recently, he was seen in the world premiere cast of MARY SHELLEY AND HER FRANKENSTEIN and in Opera Theatre of Pittsburgh’s production of PORGY AND BESS.  Monte is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA.  He would like to thank his parents (Roosevelt and Lori Brown) for their continual support of his dreams and the wonderful people at STAGES for this wonderful opportunity.  Monte would also like to thank the cast and crew who he is so honored to be working with and hopes

  EDWARD JUVIER (Mad Hatter)

Edward is thrilled to be back in St. Louis working with the amazing team at STAGES!  Returning for a 3rd season, he appeared last year as Marcellus Washburn in THE MUSIC MAN and was seen as Sancho Panza in MAN OF LA MANCHA.  As an actor, Ed has also appeared in both the National tour and Broadway production of LES MISERABLES.  New York credits include FANNY (York), TRIUMPH OF LOVE (Lincoln Center), and SMOKING BLOOMBERG (NYMTF), a production he also produced which won the “Best of Fest 2006” award.  Some favorite regional and stock credits include THE PRODUCERS (Max), …FORUM (Pseudolus), BAT BOY (Rick/Lorraine), and OKLAHOMA! (Jud).  Love and thanks to all family and friends for their endless support—especially Mom and Cristi.  Ed lives in Brooklyn. [TOP]

  SHAUN SHELEY (March Hare/ King of Hearts)

Shaun is grateful to return to the STAGES family where he previously was seen in MAN OF LA MANCHA and as Max in CABARET.  Holding a BFA in performance from Niagara University’s conservatory training program, Shaun is hoping to soon complete his MFA in directing from Lindenwood University.  He has worked with the celebrated Irish Classical Theatre Company where favorite roles include Christy Mahon in PLAYBOY OF THE WESTERN WORLD, Edmund in KING LEAR, and Jack Worthing in THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.  Other regional and Off-Broadway credits include WHO KILLED WOODY ALLEN, INTO THE WOODS, A CHILD’S CHRISTMAS IN WALES, and BERTHA THE SEWING MACHINE GIRL directed by Jack Lee. A director, fight choreographer, and adjunct lecturer, Shaun thanks everyone at STAGES and sends love to Colleen, Lili, Jack, Miran and Kate. [TOP]

  KATY TIBBETS (Queen of Hearts)

Katy is tickled to return for her 2nd season with STAGES!  Before moving back to St. Louis, Katy enjoyed touring the UK and Ireland with the 1st International tour of Nickelodeon’s RUGRATS.  Recently, Katy made her debut with Avalon Theatre in QUILTERS and looks forward to upcoming projects with Echo Theatre Company.  Regionally, Katy has worked with Pennsylvania Centre Stage, Second Street Playhouse, Great Plains Theatre, Tent Theatre, and the Orange Girls.  Katy thanks Matt for his constant patience and love, her family and friends for their continued support, all the girls at GB, and to Michael, Jack, and Lisa for this great opportunity.  No regrets!
