Education: STAGES Performing Arts Academy

The STAGES Performing Arts Academy offers courses year-round for students of all ages and experience levels in the musical theatre disciplines of dance, voice and drama. Our instructors are professional educators and artists. All classes are held at our beautiful facility at 444 Chesterfield Center in Chesterfield, Missouri -- across from Chesterfield Mall. (MAP)

ACADEMY SPRING SHOWCASE 2008! STAGES Academy students will once again have the opportunity to shine on stage as they show off their skills to family and friends in our Spring Showcase! These presentations for students ages six years and above will not be fully costumed or staged, but are designed to round out a student's training through a public performance in an educational context. Specific details on the date, time, and location will be available near the beginning of the Spring Session.



		It's the hippest, coolest place to see and be seen! ClubSTAGES begins a whole new year of fun Friday nights at the STAGES Academy. It's the super cool place to: Party with your peeps! Bust a move, croon a tune, and show off your inner drama queen! Fuel up on munchies! Win great prizes! Check out our upcoming ClubSTAGES Dates.



		Celebrate with a TWIST! A STAGES Academy birthday party consists of an hour and a half rental of the facility which includes 45 minutes of age-appropriate music, dance or acting activities led by one of our teaching artists. We can plan your celebration around particular themes, books, etc...whatever fits the fancy of the birthday kid! Scheduling is arranged on an as-available basis. 		Bring your pre-school to early elementary-aged children to enjoy these creative and interactive storytelling sessions featuring your favorite children's classics! Click here to see a list of dates and times! *Please note that reservations are now required for these FREE events.

You may register in person, by phone, or with our online Enrollment Form. To be added to our mailing list, please send your name, address and email address to academy@stagestlouis.org.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Payments may be made by cash, checks, STAGES gift certificates, VISA or Mastercard - The Preferred Card of STAGES, and must be made in full by the first day of class. You may choose to pay your tuition at one time or to make two installment payments. The first payment should include the $15.00 registration fee and 50% of your tuition.

Course Withdrawal Policy: Notice of withdrawal must be made in writing to the Director of Education & Outreach. If withdrawal is made before the class begins, a full refund will be provided. If withdrawal is made after the first class and before the third class meeting, only 50% of the tuition cost will be refunded. If withdrawal is made after the third class meeting, no refund will be made. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Course Cancellations: If for any reason STAGES cancels a scheduled course before the first class, you will be notified no later than one week in advance and a full refund for that course will be provided. If an individual class meeting is canceled due to inclement weather, a make-up time will be arranged and posted at the Academy.
